Moving… Transition To Success (TTS) is a small, woman owned and operated business dedicated to changing the way our nation understands poverty, from a character flaw steeped in shame and stigma to a treatable, environmentally based condition. Moving individuals and families from poverty to self-sufficiency and changing the way this nation understands and responds to poverty is accomplished with an evidence-based, demonstrated treatment methodology that can be integrated across health, human services, government, education and faith based programs, creating connectivity between previously siloed delivery systems with consistency in practice and measurement. Transition to Success, a train the trainer program, trains people who work with those in poverty to screen for and respond to social determinant exposures, the key drivers of health and economic outcomes. Prior to the pandemic, TTS training was in-person, typically classes of 25 – taking place over a 3 day period. Our trainings are now also offered on a web based platform. Our trainings are held all over the country, from Maryland to California. In addition to trainings, our other sources of income are consulting and (pre-pandemic) speaking engagements. Our newest products are soon to be released and include a youth and self-directed Map of My Dreams Workbooks. Our evidence-based approach to treating poverty has statistically significant outcomes in five independent evaluations.
