Mental and physical well-being is complex—profoundly influenced by each of our unique histories, our habits, our diets, our thinking patterns and our genetics. We know we deserve more than a one-size-fits-all approach but, too often, routinized care gives us just that: a cookie-cutter prescription for this or that medication and perhaps a recommendation for therapy. While pharmaceutical and other standardized approaches can be an effective part of a care plan, they cannot stand alone. What too many of us are leaving out are the deep interactions between the health of our bodies and the health of our minds.

Originally from California, Susannah now makes her home in Denver, Colorado. She has also lived and practiced in San Francisco, New York City, and overseas, including a year in China, where she spent time exploring Chinese traditional medicine. Her wide-ranging studies and experiences have had a profound impact on the shape of her practice. Her approach is patient-centered, collaborative, preventive, and root-cause motivated. She uses nutritional approaches, advanced testing, and considers the patient as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms.
