Spin and Learn will focus on teaching students of all ages to play table tennis at a high level while developing their physical and mental abilities. Spin and Learn also aims to instill the discipline and focus needed for students to become successful independent learners with the capacity to achieve high academic standards and become successful in any areas of interest in their lives.
Our program offers students and members in public and private schools, and other educational institutions the opportunity to learn the rules of table tennis, how to practice, and how to compete in table tennis tournaments and become great table tennis players. Thus, children from a very young age (6 and up) can be exposed to the table tennis sport and enjoy the benefits of becoming a young and disciplined athlete.
Spin and Learn was founded by table tennis Dominican Champion Ms. Yasiris Ortiz in 2016. She started playing at the age of 9 in the Dominican Republic and in addition to representing her country internationally, she has won numerous medals and trophies including three gold medals in the Caribbean Championship in 2018.
