The ultimate goal is to reduce recidivism and promote community, education, mental health services and enlightenment of future navigation with the importance of self preservation and Independence. I developed Smiley & Ra from a place of passion. I have a brother and cousin that are currently incarcerated with no sign of freedom no time soon. Unfortunately the Justice system is designed to promote recidivism oppose to ending it. Unfortunately, more than often people transitioning out of incarceration have no where to live and become homeless, leaving the future of becoming a productive citizen dim. My goal is to provide hope where there is none.

Smiley & Ra is dedicated to my brothers fighting recidivism. Our mission is to provide incarcerated men transitioning into society a fair playing field to beat the statistics of recidivism (returning to prison) by providing an all-inclusive and individualized need: (housing, employment, financial planning, entrepreneurship, educational, social services, medical and mental health programs.
