The name came to me when I was in film school and an activist against police brutality. In 2003, I started a film production company and I currently have two feature documentaries in distribution: Silence and Afraid of Dark. After several compliments on the hoodie that I created as a Kickstarter perk in honor of Travon Martin, I decided to add branded apparel last year right before Covid hit. Since then the name has flourished and I have received a lot of support from people in the entertainment industry as well as activists. I am currently doing pop-ups throughout the city of LA and building up my online presence to help spread the message further against gun violence.
