They review content for possible bias, racism, whether the material is offensive, or derogatory. They have lived the life of the author's written character's and share their life experiences. Trained Cultural Consultants / Sensitivity Readers also offer suggestions once issues are found and provide a full report with research links for further follow-up. Once the client receives, it is up to them whether to make any changes or not. We're very proud to increase the pool of properly trained sensitivity readers from marginalized communities.
