Poestry: Where Creativity Speaks the Podcast was born out of a desire to provide a platform for local DMV-based artists, creatives and entrepreneurs, to share their story, share their art, connect with their fans and to inspire and encourage others… Poestry: Where Creativity Speaks the Podcast was born out of a desire to provide a platform for local DMV-based artists, creatives and entrepreneurs, to share their story, share their art, connect with their fans and to inspire and encourage others to do the same! The DC area is full of extremely talented individuals and we have had the pleasure to interview a range of folks, from Singers, Actors, Dancers, Musicians, Comedians, Poets, Playwrights, Authors and more! My desire after each episode is to leave someone with the feeling that if the guest can do it-so can I!
With an updated and expanded website, we will be able to provide a wealth of resources that aspiring and even more established artists can access to further their careers. With a paid membership, they will be able to access discounted classes, workshops and programs that will help them enhance their skills and grow their businesses. With a vibrant online community, they will be able to connect and collaborate with others who share their vision. Without enough information and resources, they will be able to share their gifts with the world without having to be starving artists, because they've been supported enough to grow their fan base to truly make a living from their craft and bless the world with their art!
