OWNING MY OWN TRUTH LLC was founded in 2015 with the mission to provide resources and peer intervention to underprivileged communities in Oakland California. The purpose of this organization is to help individuals, families, and communities who have experienced domestic violence, racism, homelessness, and lack of access to mental health resources. Through peer empowerment and engagement OMOT helps those of whom seek out our service stand firmly in their truth. OMOT offers biweekly empowerment sessions. Hand prepared Personal Protection Equipment in the form of self care bags, temporary housing vouchers, and food packages.
