We… We are a general independent bookstore selling new trade books and book related gifts and cards/stationary/sock/hats/tshirts etc. Title IX in New London CT began as a pop up for the 2020 holiday season with grant to offset rent from the City. We continued into 2021 and plan to continue the bookstore to serve the low income market and improve literacy especially with the young people of New London who have never had a bookstore. Title IX is part of our bigger mother store, Bank Square Books, in Mystic CT which is not a low income area.
