We provide all youth with resources based on food, housing and employment disparities, tools for living healthier… Lend A Ear is a youth hotline aimed at providing an ear to lean on and a uniqueness rooted in face to face community outreach. We provide all youth with resources based on food, housing and employment disparities, tools for living healthier lifestyles , mentorships , and a hotline wristband. Our wristbands link all youth with a qualified call center volunteer eager to listen and problem solve issues related to neglect, abuse, hunger, homelessness, STD's, sex trafficking, sexual identify, depression, etc. I have worked as a Behavior Therapist for over eighteen years and witnessed the look of loss, hopelessness, and the will to survive in the eyes of our youth. I am proud to have formed partnerships with principals throughout LAUSD, local police stations, community centers, and local small business.
