I started this law firm because I wanted to make sure our legacies don't get lost, our business thrive beyond our lifetimes, and we break the negative generational cycles in our families, businesses, and communities. This is all because I… I started this law firm because I wanted to make sure our legacies don't get lost, our business thrive beyond our lifetimes, and we break the negative generational cycles in our families, businesses, and communities. This is all because I unexpectedly lost my mom when I was in college. And because she didn’t have an estate plan in place, I didn't see a penny of anything she owned; I didn't really know what she wanted her legacy to be; and didn’t know her ultimate wishes for me, because those desires weren't documented. I understand that most parents’ intent, in terms of building wealth, is for their children to start where they finished instead of starting over or from the beginning. For my younger brother and I though, unfortunately this became our reality.
