Her soul gaze has always been drawn to the heart and true nature of things, in particular the disruptive beauty of the real of it; life unfolding in the moment, layers of creative process, the textured mystique of mundane moments, unfiltered emotion, wild forms & honest souls. As a seer, she observes versus directs, intuitively merging social documentary and abstract aesthetics. This approach, which is highly intuitive and process oriented, shapes both her photographic work and ongoing exploration of other mediums. J.Genevieve creates best within a space of being and believe that liberation from performative appearances is needed, now more than ever, within the visual conversation.

I work as an artist and intuitive photographer in this manner with my client and personal work as well as with other mediums and have honed my particular perspective over the past 20+ years, finally launching J.Genevieve June 6, 2019. While currently based in Central Texas, I am available for travel world wide.
