NYA opened IVY Kitchen + Cocktails, a chic, wholly sustainable eatery in the city's East English Village neighborhood, in 2020. NYA, a certified project management professional, purchased the building it's housed in with her own savings and locally sources all menu ingredients.
NYA's commitment to sustainability goes beyond her restaurant, however. She holds a builder's license through the state of Michigan and founded DIOMO, a developmental company named in honor of NYA's tenacity and perseverance—”Did it on my own.”
