I teach knitting and crochet to those who are interested in learning either or both forms of fiber art free of charge and prefer to work with underserved members of the community. To supplement this work which I do free of charge, I used to teach at… I teach knitting and crochet to those who are interested in learning either or both forms of fiber art free of charge and prefer to work with underserved members of the community. To supplement this work which I do free of charge, I used to teach at guilds and in local yarn stores, all of which closed in 2020 due to the pandemic. I pivoted my company and instead I now work with yarn companies to bring their products to new markets, enhance their web presence and develop patterns for their customers. I also derive a very small portion of my income from pattern sales. I would like help to finish writing my book and send printed copies to the libraries in underserved communities where people may not even have access to the Internet so they too can learn to knit and crochet. Once I complete this pivot my business will be location independent and I can hopefully continue to work via Zoom to bring educational programs to those who would like them.
