Our aim is to create bookworms and our goal is to raise the bar on the quality of children's and youth's literature being produced in Puerto Rico. Although we celebrate local voices and local artists, the literature we produce touches universal topics and is not necessarily region-focused. We want to produce world-quality books we can export. Over 90% of the literature currently purchased and consumed by Puerto Ricans is from foreign authors, we want to change that, and we want people from other countries reading what WE produce.
