Through commercials, documentaries, and feature films, co-founders Alex and Noel Miranda seek to include a more diverse voices in the story-telling process from beginning to end. Bravebird's Cinema Dignite methodology is characterized by impeccable quality, ethics, inclusion, and empowerment. Bravebird is also in the process of creating a "farm-system" for diverse creatives that mentors them and eventually deploys them on our projects.
Bravebird co-founder, Alex Miranda spent 15 years working in Hollywood as a diverse professional actor as well as for a top Hollywood studio. Alex first appeared in national commercials before working in film and tv shows like The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Walker Texas Ranger. He has seen firsthand the lack of equity and diversity and eventually left the industry after constantly being stereotyped as a delinquent. Alex maintained his passion for storytelling and decided to pursue transformative work behind the camera. He served as a creative director at a marketing agency before starting Bravebird, documenting the rise of the drug epidemic and conservation in Hawaii.
Noel comes from a community relations and non-profit background, working with Coca-Cola, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Centro Hispano.
