Each month’s Atlas Box is themed after a different country and contains an age-appropriate book, educational materials, a map poster for tracking countries explored, and a culturally relevant souvenir. We have four age groups for varying reading levels, from picture books to young adult novels. Our mission is - (1) to help children of all backgrounds see themselves in the books that they read; (2) to help children travel the world through books; (3) and to help shatter single story narratives i.e. stereotypes. Since launching in November 2019, we have explored over 25 countries including Kenya, Poland, Iran, and Haiti.
