In addition to selling comics and coffee as our name states, we also serve as a touch-point in our community where our neighborhood's lifelong residents, newcomers, students, educators, artists and the larger geek/nerd community in Philly and beyond can come together to build friendships and social networks.
Amalgam is a celebration of geek culture: a place for blerds, nerds, comic book fans, hardcore gamers, movie addicts, television connoisseurs, and zombie apocalypse survivalists to meet, and with their powers combined, make a positive impact on geek culture and our larger society. We are steadfast in our commitment to representation and inclusion within the comic book industry, making this a safe space for BIPOC, women, femmes and the LGBTQIA+ community.
We specialize in comics, toys & figurines, games, comic related magazines, apparel, coffee & espresso related beverages, and baked goods.
