We will offer not only books for and about everyone, excellent coffee, and gifts, but a third space where everyone can feel safe as who they are, learn about each other, and connect with their community. Our play area will feature wooden structures built by small businesses, our quiet room will be a safe haven for neurodiverse people and nursing parents, and our conference/coworking space will give community members a space to get work done. We elevate marginalized voices at every opportunity, are working with local artists to beautify our space, and have already led multiple initiatives that are not tied to profit, but rather to changing the world, such as #IAmElkGrove and #SmashEveryBinary
