Years ago, I was diagnosed with eczema. The dermatologist gave me mineral oils to bathe with that worked but were not pleasant - so I began the hunt for enjoyable beauty products that were compatible with my condition. I quickly found myself in a… Years ago, I was diagnosed with eczema. The dermatologist gave me mineral oils to bathe with that worked but were not pleasant - so I began the hunt for enjoyable beauty products that were compatible with my condition. I quickly found myself in a dermatitis catch-22, surrounded by products that either worked but felt like medicine, felt great but were not effective, or smelled wonderful & irritated my skin. I began to research natural foods that were good for the skin & came across cocoa butter first, which has the scent of chocolate. I put on my Willy Wonka fedora and went into the kitchen to mix up cocoa butter with shea butter + a dash of sweet orange and mint essential oils. The Cocoa Truffle Bath Melt was born! My skin felt great using my homemade remedies & Treat Beauty was born!
